Privacy Policy

Jeneum ("we," "us") is a platform for launching and running local moving companies. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers jeneum.com, tenant storefronts hosted on jeneum.com subdomains, the Jeneum operator dashboard, and the Jeneum mover app.

Information we collect

How we use information

To provide the service: creating and operating moving-company storefronts, processing quotes and bookings, dispatching work to movers, processing payments, sending service notifications, and keeping the platform secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Google Maps Platform

Portions of our service use Google Maps Platform, including Places Autocomplete for address entry and Distance Matrix API for travel-time estimation. Use of these features is subject to theGoogle Maps / Google Earth Additional Terms of Serviceand theGoogle Privacy Policy.

Text messaging

Movers who provide a mobile number and check the SMS consent box at signup receive account and work notifications by text. Customers who check the SMS consent box at booking receive service messages about that booking. Jeneum's own employees and contractors on the operations on-call rotation may also enroll, through an internal consent form, to receive automated system-alert texts about the platform itself. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. ReplySTART to opt back in. Reply HELP for help — the carrier answers with a standard reminder on how to unsubscribe.

An opt-out takes effect immediately and applies to the number you replied to: replying STOP to a moving company's number stops that company's messages, and replying STOP to a Jeneum number stops ours. Opting out of one moving company does not stop another, and replying START to one never re-subscribes you anywhere else.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, excluding the vendors that deliver messages on our behalf.

Service providers

We share information only with the vendors that run the platform, each limited to what their function requires: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Twilio (text messaging), Google Maps Platform (address autocomplete, address geocoding, and travel-time calculation, subject to the Google Privacy Policy), Cloudflare (hosting and networking), and Neon (database hosting). If Jeneum introduces mover background screening in a later phase, a screening vendor would be added to this list and this policy updated first.

Retention

Account and booking records are retained while an account is active and afterward as required for legal, tax, and dispute purposes. Signed moving agreements, including the signature image, are kept for the life of the moving company's account, because they are the record of what a customer agreed to and may be needed years later in a damage claim or a payment dispute. Closed accounts are deactivated and retained rather than immediately erased; you may request deletion of your personal information at the contact below, subject to records we are legally required to keep.

Identity documents are the exception to the above: they are deleted at the moment a reviewer decides, or after 7 days if no reviewer has decided, and are never retained afterward.

Your choices

You can opt out of text messages at any time (reply STOP to unsubscribe), update your account information in the dashboard or app, and request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailinghello@jeneum.com.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes will be announced to account holders directly.
